                                                               Today is closing ceremony

     Cultural exchange: 

      • Learning about greeting from Indonesia. I'm so impressed about the greeting when student meets teacher, they check hand and put it on cheek.
     • See the independent day of Indonesia my school has the ceremony of the independent day they have the parade and then all the students stand in line and show respect for the nation while singing the national anthem.
      • I sing a song “Yam Yen” (The Musical Compositions of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej) in the closing ceremony because I want to share this song with the others and tell them that this song wrote by the King Bhumibol.

        Sightseeing:

             I travel 3 places the first is Pancek becici this place surrounded by mountains and trees. I like it because of beautiful nature and good view. Second is Borobudur temple.This famous Buddhist temple in Yogyakarta. And the last is Malioboro Street is a major shopping street in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The street is the center of Yogyakarta's largest tourist district surrounded with many hotels, restaurants, and shops nearby. Sidewalks on both sides of the street are crowded with small stalls selling a variety of goods.

          I learned many experiences from sea teacher project in Indonesia. It's the first time that I go to aboard. First, I live in Indonesia for one month learn about the culture such as how to greeting, how to eat and next I learn the Bahasa language I can speak some word when I meet the teachers in my school and when I buy something. Then I have a new experience for teaching practice and first time to teach three hours and I'm learning a lot from mentor and supervisor who give recommendations to me.

         Thank you forUNY for the opportunity that takes me to Indonesia.Smk N2 Depok school for giving me teaching practice.Next, thank you, my mentor, to take care and help me many things.The last thank you, coordinator Tiara and friends, from UNY to accompany me.

          Today is weekend my friends Bisqis and Deaya they took us to Malioboro Street is a major shopping street in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The street is the centre of Yogyakarta's largest tourist district surrounded with many hotels, restaurants, and shops nearby. Sidewalks on both sides of the street are crowded with small stalls selling a variety of goods. I bought many souvenirs for my parents and friends in Thailand and the seller in Malioboro they’re so kind when I discount the price.ส

21-25August 2017

               This week is teaching practice. I’m so excited because it’s the first time that I teach in vocational education at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 2 Depok. They’re different country, language and lesson plan but my mentor recommends and helps me many things and I make my lesson plan for 3 hours, I put many activities in my lesson plan. I teach about congratulating in grade 10 class the student in class some person can speak English very well. They’re friendly and polite when I teach they intend to study.

                         
                             I give them to make the dialogue and do exercise, they can do it very well.

                 Today is weekend my friends Bisqis and Affi they took us to Borobudur temple.This famous Buddhist temple in Yogyakarta. Borobudur temple is the world’s biggest Buddhist monument, an ancient site widely considered to be one of the world’s seven wonders. The temple sits majestically on a hilltop overlooking lush green fields and distant hills. Built in the 9th century during the reign of the Syailendra dynasty, the temple’s design in Gupta architecture reflects India's influence on the region, yet there are enough indigenous scenes and elements incorporated to make Borobudur uniquely Indonesian.

                           The diver from UNY pick up us at 8 a.m.and we arrived there at 11 a.m.

               We go to Borobudur temple by tram and  see view around  the way

                  When we arrived. First that I saw the temple it's so beautiful and biggest temple. I
pray and take many photos although the weather so hot but I enjoy because this is the special temple that I never met.

18th August 2017

                       I get up 5.30 a.m. and then I go to school at 6.30 a.m. today my friend she has class in the morning at 7.30 a.m. and me assistant in her class. She teaches about pronoun before start class she sings a song “a side in front a back” and student sings together then teach about pronoun. Next, she gives the students introduce his friend in front of the class. 

17th August 2017

                     I get up 5.30 a.m. and then I go to school at 6.30 a.m. today is Independent day of Indonesia in school have ceremony about Independent day in the morning at 7.00 a.m. in ceremony everyone come to the ground and then do ceremony  when everyone sings national anthem I feel so appreciate the sound when they sing so beautiful and warm. After finish the ceremony I went to see the activity of students such as singing contest, sports competition. This is the activity of Independent day in school I think is so good because they are happy and practice skill about this. Before we will back to homestay the principal want to us sing a song, we sing Thai song is so very excited but the audience so happy and say “oh you sing so well “ Then I back to homestay at 4.00 p.m.ส

16th August 2017

 

     I go to school at 6.30 a.m. in the morning I observe Bu Niken class at 7.00 a.m. in this class the many students are smart than other class they can understand easily. In this class, Bu Niken teaches about pronoun her open the video and students learn from video and the teacher express if they don’t understanding. Next teacher gives students do exercise and discuss the answer by the student write the answer on the board. In afternoon we're playing badminton with the student at the gym. Then I back to the homestay at 4.30 p.m.
